🧲 Zipper Sliders: What’s the Difference?

  • Standard Sliders – Basic non-locking pulls that move freely. Ideal for cushion inserts where zips are hidden.
  • Auto-Lock Sliders – Hold position when not pulled. Great for open-ended zippers, bags, or any project where you want the zip to stay closed.
  • Plastic Sliders – Lighter and rust-resistant, great for outdoor or marine use.
  • Double Pull Sliders – Openable from both sides. Handy for bean bags, mattress covers, or double-sided access.

📌 Quick Tips

  • Match slider size & type to the zipper. A #5 spiral slider won’t work on a #5 chunky zip.
  • Buy a little extra chain. Continuous zippers are sold by the metre and are easy to cut.
