Open Ended Chunky Moulded Zipper with Double-Pull Plastic Non-lock sliders/runners in various lengths. Open Ended Zippers are a finished zippers which can be separated, like the zipper on a jacket, and include a zipper slider, starter box, and top stops. Made from a high quality durable Delrin (acetal/plastic) construction with plastic sliders making it suitable for outdoor applications subject to rain, salt water and dirt. DOUBLE PULL tab is for use when access is needed from both sides in applications like tents, boat covers and sleeping bags etc.
To shorten an open-end zipper, always trim from the top. Simply remove the excess teeth and secure the new end using either stainless steel zipper stops or by sewing a fabric scrap horizontally over the top.
