Paper covered and oil tempered. 2.0mm steel wire with paper coating to reduce noise and squeeking. Also known as silentwire, stakewire and bracewire. Used to connect sinuous zig-zag springs inside of furniture or auto seats to create a bracing, allowing the springs to work as a unit, reducing the pressure on each spring & therefore prolonging the life of the seat.
