Luxe Premium Automotive UV Suede (137cm wide)
The Luxe UV suede range is a high-performance synthetic microfiber suede (microscopic fibers) designed for premium automotive applications as well as commercial furniture environments. It has a plain no-nap nonwoven smooth flat finish commonly used in high-end European automotive trims for a truly elegant look.
Its sturdy construction makes it ideal for high traffic environments, demanding a high performing material. Luxe Suede has a Martindale Abrasion resistance of 100,000+ rubs exceeding the requirements for Heavy Domestic/Heavy Commercial standards. Luxe Suede has been UV stabilised to withstand harsh Australian conditions. The fade resistant nature of the range makes it an excellent choice for automotive & indoor marine upholstery where it may be subject to sunlight. It also has a special treatment to make it resistant to stains, water and oil which in turn lengthens the life of the product in many demanding applications. Sample cuttings provided on request.
There are 3 types of the Luxe Suede products:
Un-Backed – single layer textile; plain suede with no backing, used for any areas that don’t require sewing and will easily follow contours. Great for headliners, dashes in cars, wrapping panels, and other areas where increased stretch may be desired.
Backed – double layer textile; plain suede with finely woven polyester backing, used for general sewing applications and other areas where increased textile strength may be desired.
Perforated – double layer textile; small perforated pin hole surface layer with finely woven polyester backing, used for feature inserts in car seats and other areas.
