Keder is a versatile edge fixing system used to securely attach fabric panels to rigid structures using an aluminium track system. Commonly used with PVC and technical fabrics, the fabric is welded or stitched to the Keder flap while the reinforced core slides smoothly into the extrusion, creating a strong, tensioned and weather-resistant connection.
Manufactured in Australia with an extruded PVC core wrapped in durable woven polyester fabric, Keder is designed for easy installation, long-term durability and reliable performance in demanding environments. The exposed outer fibres reduce friction, allowing the Keder to glide easily into tracks during fabrication and installation.
Available in both single flap and double flap varieties, Keder suits a wide range of fabrication and mounting applications including tensile structures, awnings, banners, marine covers, curtains and roof membranes. Its simple slide-track design provides a clean finish, continuous waterproof seal and allows for faster installation and easy fabric replacement.
