These leather needles have a wedge type shape at the point which gives it superior piercing power for unyielding fabric such as real leather, suede or heavy vinyl. Commonly used for Walking foot sewing machines, bar-tacking machines and double-needle machines. Not compatible with smaller domestic home sewing machines.
