Details

Decorative nail strips are commonly used for finishing antique style furniture and concealing exposed staples. Strips are in place along the edge of furniture and can be bent to follow contours of furniture. A single stud is then nailed every fifth space to hold strip in place. Using strips as opposed to single studs saves time and ensures accurate spacing for a neat, professional look.
